Privacy policy
Last updated: 4 October 2026. This policy describes My Money Dashboard, a personal finance tool operated by Daiveekram J.
Information used
The private dashboard stores financial records supplied by its owner, including transactions, account identifiers, balances, debts and goals. When Gmail access is enabled, the importer reads relevant financial message headers, bodies and supported attachments to extract records and retain source references. Google permission applies to the mailbox; application filtering limits processing to relevant financial messages.
Email permissions
The requested Gmail modify permission enables reading messages and marking successfully processed financial messages as read. The worker is not authorised to send, delete or archive messages. Failed or unreadable imports remain unread. Autonomous server importing is still being configured.
Storage and access
Financial records are stored on the private server and may also be retained in local staging files and backups on the owner’s Mac. Credentials are stored separately from public website files. Access to the dashboard requires a private network connection and application authentication.
Service providers and optional AI
Google provides Gmail access, Leapswitch hosts the server, and Tailscale provides private connectivity. The current assisted email workflow uses the connected Gmail service in Codex. If the owner enables the optional AI chat, their question, recent chat and a compact financial summary are sent to the configured OpenAI service. Raw bank statement files and email bodies are not part of that chat payload. Provider services operate under their respective terms.
Use and retention
Google user data is used to provide the requested personal finance features, not for advertising or sale. Use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Records are retained until the owner removes them; retained backups must be removed separately. Revoking Google access stops future access but does not automatically erase previously imported records.
Control and contact
The owner can revoke access through Google Account third-party connections and request removal of retained data. Contact: daiveekramdj@gmail.com.
